The Lead Operator will assume all operator responsibilities including the operation of the Capsule Filling machine and the LEMS sealing machine as well as tank preparation.  The Lead Operator will be responsible for keeping the equipment running effectively and efficiently, including in-process sampling and quality checks.  This position will be responsible for order and size changing machines which involves disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling the machines.

In the absence of the Shift Leader, the Lead Operator will provide leadership to shift colleagues and oversee all stages of the process including tank preparation, filling and sealing operation, and inspection and packaging operation while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

•  Must be able to work the appropriate shift required for this position.
• Must be able to work overtime – more than 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day.
• Attendance on plant site/office site is essential.
• The DFS Team Leader provides backup for other DFS Team Leaders, as well as backup for the Shift Leader.
• Must be able to work weekends or holidays as business needs dictate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
